Overview

TrustTone SMTP/POP Email encryption appliance provides the functionality described in the general appliance description page.

It is targeted for the email environments that use SMTP/POP for email delivery to and from the Internet. This appliance will not work with Microsoft Exchange, the appliance for which is described here.

On-Premise or On-the-Cloud SMTP/POP Servers

TrustTone Stealth works well with internal on-premise SMTP/POP server as well as environments that use ISP's on-the-cloud SMTP/POP servers. Configuration and deployment architecture are identical for both cases.

Easy Configuration

You do not need to make any changes to your MX records for deploying the Stealth appliance. Configuration settings are all local to the appliance. The only external changes required are setting up a sub-domain for secure Web access by external recipients.

High Security

All private keys are stored on the appliance on your premises and are not accessible at all. For better security, the appliance decrypts the data after proper authentication but never gives out the keys.

Compatible with Standards

Stealth is completely standards compliant which means that you do not have to worry about its interoperability with your mail server or that of your ISP. It is a completely transparent drop-in component for your email workflow.
